It was 2009. I was a broke university student in Kyiv who had just discovered SEO. No courses. No mentor. Just Google, forums, and a lot of trial and error.
Over the next 15 years I went deep: SEO → PPC → media buying → analytics → team lead → product management at Madgicx, one of the largest Google Ads platforms in the world.
I thought I'd seen everything. Then a friend who sells tractor parts in a small town in central Ukraine called me. Real business, loyal customers, word of mouth that had carried him for years — but he wanted to reach farmers from the next region over. When we opened Google Ads together, his eyes glazed over in 60 seconds.
He looked at me: "Maybe I'll just find someone who does this."
He found an agency that charged him $200/month, launched one campaign, never touched it again, and sent PDF reports he didn't understand. He was stuck between a tool too complex to use himself and people who took his money and disappeared.
That's when I realized: Google Ads isn't hard because it's complex. It's hard because nobody designed it for the person actually trying to use it.
So I built 30secads.com — to give my friend (and millions of small businesses like him) the campaign they need, in 30 seconds, in the language they actually speak.
